Upload a PAN card, Aadhaar, bank statement or address proof, as a PDF or a photo of the card, and it is read on this device and the blank fields are filled. Anything that differs from what you have already typed is flagged rather than overwritten. The first scan downloads the reader, about 15 MB, which the browser then keeps. The passport photo should be a portrait JPG or PNG at roughly 35 mm by 45 mm.
