Registration Process

Step 1: Visit udyamregistration.gov.in

Step 2: Enter Aadhaar + PAN

For proprietor: Aadhaar of proprietor + PAN of business. For partnership: Aadhaar of managing partner + PAN of firm. For company: Aadhaar of director + PAN of company.

Step 3: Fill Business Details

Name of business, address, NIC code, number of employees, investment, turnover.

Step 4: Verify + Submit

Aadhaar OTP verification. PAN auto-verifies from IT database. Submit.

Step 5: Udyam Certificate Issued

Udyam certificate is generated instantly. Download as PDF. Valid for the lifetime of the business (no renewal required, but update if turnover / investment changes the category).

Common Mistakes to Avoid

  • Not linking PAN with Aadhaar (required for Udyam)
