Refund Policy

At CorporateWalla®, we stand behind the quality and speed of our work. This Refund Policy explains when and how you can claim a refund. It is part of our Terms of Service.

1. The 7-day money-back guarantee

If you purchase our Standard or Pro plan for a registration, filing, or compliance service, and we fail to file the application with the relevant government authority within 7 business days of receiving complete and accurate information from you, you receive a 100% refund of the advance paid. No forms, no friction.

For our Starter plan, the equivalent guarantee period is 10 business days.

"Business days" means Monday to Friday, excluding Indian national holidays. The clock starts when we receive your complete document set and KYC.

2. What's refundable

a) Full refund (100%)

  • We miss the 7-business-day (or 10-day) filing deadline (Starter/Standard/Pro plans)
  • We are unable to provide the service due to our internal error or capacity issue
  • You cancel within 24 hours of payment and we have not yet started work
  • The service you purchased is no longer available (we will refund and offer an alternative)

b) Partial refund (pro-rata)

  • For monthly retainer services (bookkeeping, payroll, virtual CFO), cancel mid-month — we refund the unused days pro-rata
  • For multi-stage services, if we have completed some stages and you want to discontinue, we refund the un-completed stages (less 15% admin charge)

c) No refund

  • Government fees, stamp duty, and statutory charges paid to MCA / IT / GST / Trademark Registry (we cannot recover these from the government)
  • Completed services where the deliverable has been provided (e.g., Certificate of Incorporation issued, ITR filed, return acknowledgment received)
  • Third-party products / services re-sold by us (DSC tokens, trademark search fees, FSSAI portal fees, etc.)
  • Delays caused by your non-response, inaccurate information, or non-cooperation
  • Government processing delays beyond our control (e.g., MCA name approval delay, IT portal outage)
  • Add-ons already delivered (e.g., trademark objection reply, IT notice reply already filed)
  • Services marked "non-refundable" on the service page at the time of purchase

3. How to request a refund

We acknowledge your request within 1 business day and resolve it within 7 business days.

4. Refund processing time

  • Approved refunds are processed within 3–5 business days of approval
  • The refund is credited to the original payment method (UPI, card, net-banking, or bank transfer for offline payments)
  • Bank / card / wallet processing may add 5–10 business days on top, depending on your bank
  • You will receive an email confirmation with the refund reference number

5. Cancellations before work begins

You may cancel any order within 24 hours of payment, as long as we have not started the work. We will refund 100% of the advance, minus any non-refundable third-party charges (DSC, government fees already paid, etc.).

6. Cancellations after work has begun

If you cancel after we have started work (e.g., DSC applied for, name approval filed, IT portal login completed), we will refund the un-completed work pro-rata, less a 15% admin / file-handling charge. Government fees already paid are non-refundable.

7. Service quality disputes

If you are unhappy with the quality of a completed service (e.g., an ITR is filed but you believe deductions were missed, a registration is done but the MOA is not what you wanted), please contact us within 7 days of delivery. We will either:

  • Re-do the work at no additional cost (if our error)
  • Refund 50% of the service fee (if you prefer not to have us re-do it)
  • Offer credit for future services (with your consent)

Disputes raised after 7 days of delivery are subject to review on a case-by-case basis.

8. Chargebacks

If you initiate a chargeback with your bank / card issuer without first contacting us to resolve the issue, we reserve the right to suspend the service and recover the cost of the chargeback from you. We are happy to resolve any legitimate dispute — please reach out first.

9. Special cases

a) Government rejection / objection

If the government authority rejects your application (e.g., MCA rejects a company name, Trademark Examiner raises objection), we will:

  • File a re-submission or reply at no additional cost (within the original plan)
  • If the rejection is not remediable, refund the un-completed portion
  • Government fees for re-submission are billed at actuals

b) Force majeure

If we are unable to deliver due to force majeure (pandemic, government shutdown, internet outage, natural disaster), we will either extend the timeline by the duration of the disruption or offer a full refund at your option.

c) Abandoned cases (your non-response > 90 days)

If we do not hear from you for 90 days despite reminders, the case is treated as abandoned. We will refund the un-completed work pro-rata, less any third-party costs already incurred.

10. How refunds are credited

  • Online payments (Razorpay / Stripe): Refunded to the original payment method (UPI / card / netbanking)
  • Bank transfer (NEFT / RTGS / IMPS): Refunded to the originating bank account
  • Cheque: Refunded by NEFT to the bank account on record
  • Credit note: For B2B clients with credit arrangements, refund may be issued as a credit note usable for future services

12. Policy changes

We may update this policy from time to time. The "Effective" date at the top reflects the latest version. For ongoing services, the policy in effect at the time of your purchase will apply.
