Exporting data from Tally takes an afternoon. Producing a Zoho Books file whose trial balance, profit and loss and balance sheet all agree with your last audited financials to the rupee is the actual job, and it is the only version worth paying for. For a company there is a second job alongside it, because the software you keep your books in is now a statutory matter and your auditor has to report on it separately.

Government fee — paid by you at actuals
There is no government fee on a data migration. Your Zoho Books subscription is paid by you directly to Zoho and is not included in our fee, and the plan you need is decided by how many GSTINs you file from rather than by turnover. Where the migration surfaces a GST or TDS position that was filed wrong, any consequential filing carries its own government charge and is quoted before anything is submitted. For company clients the Rule 11(g) audit trail documentation, the retention position and the Rule 3(6) Registrar particulars are prepared as part of the engagement rather than sold separately.
Every price above is a professional fee, excluding GST and government charges. 50% on delivery.
All fees and charges listed are indicative only and do not constitute a binding offer. Final amounts may vary depending on the volume of work and the complexity involved.
We look at your Tally file and tell you what will move cleanly, what needs restructuring, and whether Zoho is actually right for you. If you carry heavy inventory we will say so.
Built for how you report, not a mechanical copy. Tally ledgers and groups do not map one-to-one onto a Zoho chart, and done lazily you get 400 accounts and reports nobody can read.
Customers, vendors, items and tax rates, then opening balances tied to your last audited or finalised figures, then transaction history for the period you need.
Trial balance, bank balances, receivables, payables and GST all agreed before handover. Then GST, e-invoicing, e-way bill, bank feeds and templates, and one month in both systems.
Tell us your requirement, a CA will call you in 30 minutes.
If your opening trial balance does not agree with the closing balances in your last audited financials, every report afterwards is wrong and you will not notice for a year. That reconciliation is the whole job.
Not an export setting. Tally ledgers and groups do not map one-to-one, and a mechanical copy produces a chart nobody can read.
Tally holds stock in ways Zoho does not. If you carry batches, serial numbers or multiple godowns, some of that structure will be lost — and you need to know which before you move, not after.
Filed returns have to agree with the migrated ledgers, or your next GSTR-9 becomes a problem.
Unpaid invoices and bills move across as open, with correct ageing, so receivables reporting works from day one.
If you manufacture, carry batch or serial-tracked stock, or run multiple godowns, Tally is still the better product and we say so before taking the work.
